Working with custom objects

Learn how to leverage custom objects and records in SleekFlow's Contacts

Once you have created at least one custom object, you can leverage your custom objects to create records associated with your contacts. In this section, you can learn how to view, search, add, edit, and delete object records.

Viewing custom object records

To view the custom object records, you can reach the custom object record page by following the steps below:

  1. If you have more than one custom object, select the object you want to view

Searching custom object records

You can search for specific custom objects records using the primary property value in the search bar on the top left of the custom object records list. Type in the value in the search bar, and the results will appear directly in the list table.

You can also filter the records with its “Create on” and “Last updated” date range. In addition, we also support filters with all of the properties within the object. Simply click on “Advanced filters”, and filter the data according to your needs.

Adding records to a custom object

To create a new record, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Click “Create new record” on the top right

  2. Fill in the details

  3. Once you are done, click “Create” at the bottom of the form

Editing custom object records

To edit an existing record, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the icon on the record you want to edit

  2. Select “Edit”

  3. Update the record

  4. Once you are done, click “Confirm” at the bottom of the form

Deleting custom object records

To edit a record, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the icon on the record you want to edit

  2. Select “Delete”

  3. A warning message will appear. Click on “Delete”

  4. The record will be deleted from the system

Bulk actions on custom object records

You can delete multiple custom object records in bulk. To bulk delete records, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Select the records you want to delete by clicking the checkbox on the left of the record

  2. Once you are done, click on “Delete” on the top of the list

  3. A warning message will appear, click on “Delete”

  4. All of the selected records will be deleted from the system
