ℹ️ What’s supported in SleekFlow
Here are the features available for LINE Business in SleekFlow:
- Connect 1 LINE Business account to a SleekFlow account
- Send and receive messages with customers via LINE Official Account
- Set up LINE Business channel as a broadcast channel to send marketing or announcement messages
If a feature isn’t listed here, it’s currently not supported in our integration with LINE Business.
What is LINE Business?
LINE Business is a messaging platform that allows businesses to communicate with customers directly through the LINE app. Businesses can use LINE Business to provide customer support, send promotional messages, and automate conversations.
Starting a conversation
To start a conversation, your customer must send a message first by adding your LINE Business account as a friend.
Customers can find and add your LINE Business account in two ways:
- QR code: Generate and share a scannable QR code to let customers add your account easily.
- Link: Share a direct link to your LINE Business account for customers to click and connect.
Both the QR code and link can be created in LINE Business Manager.
Supported message type
Messages you can send
You can send the following message types through LINE Business in SleekFlow:
- Plain text message: Max 1,800 characters
- Documents: Max file size 16MB
- Multimedia (images, videos): Max file size 16MB
- Voice notes: Max file size 16MB
- Payment links (SleekFlow Payment feature required)
- Product messages from SleekFlow Product Catalog
- Emojis
Messages you can receive
You can receive the following message types:
- Plain text messages (Text formatting, such as bold and italic, is not supported)
- Images
- Voice notes
- Emojis
Unsupported message type
LINE Business does not support receiving the following message types:
- Location messages
- Stickers
- Contact messages
Message/conversation limitations
Conversation window
LINE does not have a strict conversation window like WhatsApp or Messenger, but certain conditions apply.
You can send push messages to:
- Users who have added your LINE Official Account as a friend at any time.
- Users who have messaged your LINE Official Account in a one-on-one chat within the past 7 days, even if they are not friends yet.
- Users in group or multi-person chats that your LINE Official Account has joined.
Note: For users who haven’t added your account as a friend, you can only reply or send messages within 7 days of receiving their message.
Message recall and editing
- Messages cannot be recalled or edited on SleekFlow after sending.
- Messages cannot be deleted on SleekFlow after receiving.
- Customers can delete messages in their LINE Business app, but this will not affect messages displayed on SleekFlow.
Message cost
LINE Business offers different pricing plans based on usage:
- Free plan: Includes 500 free messages per month
- Additional messages: Charged based on the pricing tier set by LINE Business
- You can upgrade their account to enjoy higher message volume. For more details on pricing, refer to the LINE’s pricing page.
