Disconnection alerts help your team stay informed when a connected integration or WhatsApp Business API channel disconnects from SleekFlow.
On the “Disconnection alerts” settings page, you can:
- Turn integration disconnection alerts on or off
- Turn WhatsApp channel disconnection alerts on or off
- Add WhatsApp phone numbers to receive alerts by WhatsApp message
- Add email addresses to receive alerts by email
- Remove contacts that should no longer receive alerts
Alert contacts are the people who receive notifications when a connected integration or WhatsApp channel disconnects. Notifications are sent based on the alert types you have enabled.
Note: Disconnection alerts are optional, but we recommend setting them up so your team can respond quickly when an integration or WhatsApp channel disconnects.
Before you begin
Before setting up disconnection alerts, note the following:
- Alert contacts only receive notifications after their details are saved.
- Deleted alert contacts will not receive future disconnection alerts.
- WhatsApp alert contacts must include a country code.
- Email alert contacts must use a valid email address.
- If a WhatsApp Business API channel disconnects, it cannot send or receive messages until it is reconnected.
- A disconnected WhatsApp channel remains visible on the Channels page so you can reconnect or delete it.

- Click on the
icon in the left navigation bar to go to General settings page - Click “Disconnection alerts” in the left-sided panel

Manage alert types
In “Alert types”, you can configure which types of disconnection alerts SleekFlow should send: integration disconnection alerts, channel disconnection alerts, or both.

The WhatsApp phone numbers and email addresses you add on this page are shared across both alert types. If both alert types are enabled, saved contacts will receive notifications for both integration disconnections and WhatsApp channel disconnections.
