Message statuses in SleekFlow Inbox help you track where each message is in the delivery journey. These indicators clarify whether a message is still sending, successfully delivered, read, or failed — so you can take the right action at the right time. This article explains what each status means and where to find channel-specific troubleshooting guides.

In this article, we will guide you through what each status means, how to interpret delivery failures, and where to find troubleshooting help by channel.

Message statuses explained

Here’s what each icon in SleekFlow Inbox means:

Status

Sample

Description

Sending

SleekFlow is sending the message to the messaging partner’s server.

Sent

The message has left SleekFlow and reached the channel’s server, but not yet delivered to the recipient.

Delivered

The message successfully reached the recipient’s device (but may not be read yet).

Read

The recipient has read the message, if read receipts are enabled.

ℹ️ Note: Not all messaging channels support read status. Some platforms may show “Delivered” as the final status even if the message is opened.

Failed

Something went wrong — the message didn’t reach the recipient.

Hover over the failed icon to view the error message and understand the possible cause and how to fix it.

Troubleshooting tips

If you see messages stuck in “Sending” or marked as “Failed”, here are some quick suggestions:

  • Check the channel’s connection by going to the Channels
  • Verify recipient availability (For example: incorrect phone number, blocked contacts, deactivated channels).
  • Look for repeated errors like “Message not sent” or “Message not delivered”.
