SleekFlow provides your workspace with a built-in email address that you can use to send and receive emails directly in SleekFlow.
Your SleekFlow email address uses the @sleekflowmail.io domain and does not require you to connect an external email account, sign in through an email provider, or configure DNS records.

Understand your SleekFlow email address
A SleekFlow email address is an email address hosted and managed by SleekFlow.
It uses the following format:
your-prefix@sleekflowmail.io
You can customize the prefix before @sleekflowmail.io. The domain itself cannot be changed.
Each workspace can claim one SleekFlow email address. It is shown as free on the “Channels” > “Email” page.
Your SleekFlow email address does not require:
- OAuth authorization
- DNS configuration
- IMAP or SMTP setup
- Email history import
How a SleekFlow email address differs from a connected email account
A SleekFlow email address is separate from an external email account connected through Outlook or Microsoft 365.

Both types of email address can be used to send and receive emails through SleekFlow Inbox after they are active.
Claim your SleekFlow email address
You are required to claim your SleekFlow email address before you can use it to send or receive emails.
Before the address is claimed, it shows an “Unclaimed” status. It is not an active email channel and cannot be selected as a sender address.
To claim your SleekFlow email address:
- Click the
icon in the left navigation bar to go to the “Channels” page - Select “Email” from the left panel to go to the “Email” channel page
- Under “Connected Accounts”, locate the unclaimed SleekFlow email address.
- Click “Claim email address”.

SleekFlow generates a unique email address for your workspace. The status changes to “Connected”, and a card containing your new address appears below the account row.
Each workspace can claim one SleekFlow email address.
You need permission to connect channels to claim the address. The claim button is not shown if you do not have the required permission.
Find your SleekFlow email address
After claiming your SleekFlow email address, you can find it on the “Email channel” page
Under “Connected accounts”, the account row shows:
- The SleekFlow email address
- A “Free” badge
- A “Connected” status
A banner also appears below the account row when your address is first created. From the banner, you can copy the email address or select “Customize address” to change its prefix.
You can dismiss this banner. After it is dismissed, select the “Customize address” text button in the account row to update the address prefix.
Copy your SleekFlow email address
You can copy your address before sharing it on your website, in your email signature, on contact forms, or in other customer-facing materials.
To copy your address:
- Click the
icon in the left navigation bar to go to the “Channels” page - Select “Email” from the left panel to go to the “Email” channel page
- Find the card containing your SleekFlow email address.
- Click “Copy” next to the address.
The “Address copied” message appears after the address is copied successfully.
Customize your email address prefix
You can customize the part of the address before @sleekflowmail.io.
For example:
- [your business name]@sleekflowmail.io
The @sleekflowmail.io domain is fixed and cannot be edited.
You can change the prefix once per week.
To customize the prefix:
- Click the
icon in the left navigation bar to go to the “Channels” page - Select “Email” from the left panel to go to the “Email” channel page
- Find the card containing your SleekFlow email address.
- Click the
icon
The “Customize SleekFlow email address” dialog shows:
- The “Email prefix” field
- The fixed @sleekflowmail.io suffix
- A preview of the complete address
- A reminder that you can change the address once per week
Follow the prefix requirements
Your prefix must meet the following requirements:

When you enter a prefix, SleekFlow automatically:
- Removes spaces from the beginning and end
- Converts uppercase letters to lowercase
- Combines consecutive periods into one period
- Removes periods from the beginning and end
For example, entering Sales..Team produces the following address:
sales.team@sleekflowmail.io
Once you have finished entering the new prefix for your SleekFlow email, click “Save”.
Resolve prefix errors
SleekFlow displays an error when the prefix cannot be used.

An inline error also appears if the prefix is too short, too long, or contains unsupported characters.
Receive emails through SleekFlow Inbox
After claiming your SleekFlow email address, share it with customers so they can contact your business by email.
When someone sends an email to the address:
- SleekFlow delivers the message to your workspace.
- The message appears as an email conversation in “Inbox”.
- Your team can open, assign, reply to, and manage the conversation.
Email conversations appear alongside conversations from your other connected channels.
Your SleekFlow email address does not have an email history import. Email history imports only apply to supported external email accounts connected to SleekFlow.

A SleekFlow email address always uses a SleekFlow-hosted email domain.
Troubleshoot your SleekFlow email address
The claim button is not shown
Ask a workspace administrator to confirm that you have permission to connect channels.
The “Customize” action is not shown
Ask a workspace administrator to confirm that you have permission to edit channels.
The address was claimed but is not shown
Reload the “Channels” > “Email” page.
Contact SleekFlow Support if the address still does not appear.
The prefix cannot be updated
Check that:
- The prefix contains between 5 and 32 characters
- It only contains lowercase letters, numbers, and periods
- The address is not already used by another workspace
- The prefix does not contain a reserved word
- At least one week has passed since the previous change
Emails are not appearing in Inbox
Confirm that:
- The email account shows a “Connected” status
- The sender used the complete and current address
- The sender did not receive a delivery failure message
Contact SleekFlow Support if emails still do not arrive.
