SleekFlow Inbox brings conversations from your connected messaging channels into a single workspace, making it easier to manage customer communications without switching between different apps.

From Inbox, you can:

  • Find customer conversations
  • Read and reply to messages
  • Collaborate with teammates
  • Organize conversations
  • View contact information while chatting

To open Inbox, click Inbox from the left navigation menu.

This article introduces the main areas of the Inbox workspace and how they work together when handling customer conversations.

Understand the Inbox layout

The Inbox workspace is divided into four main areas that help you find conversations, communicate with customers, and access contact information.

1. Inbox panel

The Inbox side menu is located on the left side of the workspace.

It lets you switch between different conversation views based on ownership, collaboration, conversation status, or workspace-wide queues. Selecting a different view updates the conversations displayed in the conversation list.

To learn more about Inbox views and conversation queues, see “Navigating and managing conversations in Inbox.”

2. Conversation list

The conversation list appears next to the Inbox side menu.

It displays the conversations in the selected Inbox view. Each conversation shows a summary of the latest activity, helping you quickly identify the conversation you want to open.

Select a conversation to open it in the conversation workspace.

To learn how to sort, filter, and manage conversations, see “Navigating and managing conversations in Inbox.”

3. Conversation workspace

The conversation workspace is where you read and respond to customer conversations.

It contains three main areas:

  1. Conversation control bar - where you can access available conversation actions
  2. Message history - which displays messages exchanged with the customer
  3. Message composer - where you write and send replies

To learn how to send messages and use messaging features, see “Sending and managing messages in Inbox.”

4. Contact info panel

The contact panel is located on the right side of the Inbox.

You can click the  to open the contact info panel.

It displays information related to the selected contact, allowing you to reference customer details while managing the conversation.

The information available in the contact panel may vary depending on your workspace configuration and enabled features.
