When you assign Knowledge sources to an AI agent, SleekFlow automatically generates structured knowledge articles from those sources. These articles help your agent retrieve relevant information when responding to customers.

You can review generated articles in the Article wiki, suggest edits to inaccurate or outdated information, and view an article's version history.

This guide explains how to:

  • Understand how Knowledge sources become generated articles
  • Find and review generated articles
  • Suggest edits to improve generated content
  • Review an article's version history

Understand how AI-generated knowledge articles work

When you assign a Knowledge source to an AI agent, SleekFlow processes the source and generates articles that the agent can reference during conversations.

Knowledge data sources contain the original information you provide, such as uploaded files, indexed web pages, and custom answers.

Generated articles are structured pieces of knowledge that SleekFlow creates from those sources. Each generated article:

  • Organizes content from one or more Knowledge sources
  • Breaks down information into clearer, AI-readable sections
  • Helps standardize how knowledge is used across conversations

How article generation works

SleekFlow generates articles automatically in the background after you assign Knowledge sources to an agent.

A source becomes “Ready” as soon as the agent can use it. Article generation may continue after the source reaches this status.

While articles are being generated:

  • The source remains Ready and available to the agent.
  • The agent can answer questions using the source content directly.
  • SleekFlow continues generating articles to improve how the agent retrieves information.

Once the articles are generated, the agent uses the generated articles to retrieve information from the processed sources.

Note: You do not need to wait for article generation to finish before testing your agent. You can start testing once at least one assigned Knowledge source shows “Ready”.

Find and review generated articles

You can review the knowledge SleekFlow has generated for each AI agent in the Article wiki.

To view generated articles:

  1. Go to “SleekFlow AI” page by clicking on the  icon on the left navigation bar.
  2. Click “Data and tools” in the top menu.
  3. Under “Agents” in the left sidebar, select the AI agent you want to review.
  4. Click the “Article wiki” tab.
In your AI agent’s Article wiki page, select the generated article you want to improve.
  5. Open a generated article to review its content.

Review generated articles to check whether the information is accurate, complete, and relevant to your agent's purpose.

Pay particular attention to information that may change over time, such as product details, policies, and pricing.

Suggest edits to generated articles

If a generated article contains inaccurate, unclear, incomplete, or outdated information, you can suggest an edit.

Suggested edits let you flag information that needs improvement without directly changing the generated article.

SleekFlow evaluates each suggestion against the article's context. Suggestions that are unrelated to the article or do not apply to its source content will not be accepted.

Submit a suggested edit

To suggest an edit:

  1. In your AI agent’s Article wiki page, select the generated article you want to improve.
  2. Hover on the section you want to update and click Suggest edit.
  3. Enter your suggested changes in the text field.

  4. Click “Submit”.

When writing a suggestion, describe the information that needs to change and provide the corrected content.

For example, if an article contains an outdated return policy, you can suggest updating the return window from 30 days to 14 days.

Note: Suggested edits are evaluated against the article's existing context. Make sure your suggestions are relevant to the article and its source information.

Review article history

You can use Version history to review how a generated article has changed over time.

This helps you understand how the article's knowledge has evolved.

To view an article's history:

  1. In your AI agent’s Article wiki page, select the generated article you want to review article history
  2. Select the generated article.
  3. Click “Version history”.
  4. Review the available change history.

Troubleshoot incomplete article generation

If SleekFlow cannot finish generating articles from a Ready Knowledge source, a warning icon appears beside its Ready status.

The source remains Ready, and your agent can continue using it.

To retry article generation:

  1. Open the Knowledge source showing the warning icon.
  2. Find the warning in the “Generated Articles” section.
  3. Click “Retry”.

You can also open the source from Data and tools and retry from Extraction quality.

For more information about source statuses, extraction issues, and retry actions, see  Understand AI Knowledge source statuses and fix issues.
