As a trusted platform, we have implemented robust security measures to ensure the safety of your data. We currently support setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) for your organization and your SleekFlow account.

What is 2FA?

2FA is an optional extra layer of security designed to protect your accounts from unauthorized access. When 2FA is enabled within a SleekFlow company account, an additional step is required for relevant users within that company during the login process, requiring them to provide two different forms of identification to authenticate their session.

What types of 2FA does SleekFlow support?

SleekFlow currently supports 2FA through authenticator apps like Google Authenticator, Authy and Microsoft Authenticator.

Manage Your Company’s 2FA Settings

Note on access
2FA is only available for selected plans. You can refer to the SleekFlow Pricing page to view more details.

Note on permissions
Only admin users can access and update the 2FA settings for your company’s SleekFlow account.

Access the page to manage your company’s 2FA settings by following the steps outlined below:

  • Click on the icon on the bottom left corner to access general settings
  • Within “General settings”, click “Company details” (Under “Company Settings”)

Within the “Security” tab of “Company details”, you can manage your company’s 2FA settings.

Once 2FA is enabled for certain users within your organization, they will receive an email to set up 2FA for their account. Users who have yet to set up 2FA for their account will also be prompted to do so the next time they attempt to sign in.

Setting up two-factor authentication for your SleekFlow account

In this article, we will guide you through setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) for your personal SleekFlow account.

What is 2FA?

2FA is an optional extra layer of security designed to protect your account from unauthorized access. When your account has set up 2FA, an additional step is compulsory during the sign-in process, requiring you to provide two different forms of identification to authenticate your session.

When do I need to set up 2FA?

Whether 2FA is required on your personal SleekFlow account is controlled by the settings on the company level. If your organization’s admin has enabled the 2FA settings within the company account, you will be required to set up 2FA to safeguard your personal SleekFlow account within this company.

Set Up 2FA for Your SleekFlow account

If your company’s admin has enabled 2FA, you can kick-start the process of setting up 2FA on your account in 1 of the following 2 ways:

  1. Invitation email option - Once your company has enabled 2FA, you will receive an email invitation to set up 2FA for your account. Follow the instructions outlined in the email.
  2. Sign-in option - When you next attempt to sign in to your SleekFlow account, you will be prompted to set up 2FA

Both options mentioned above will direct you to a “Secure Your Account” SleekFlow page to complete the 2FA setup.

Complete the 2FA setup by following the steps outlined below:

  1. Download any authenticator app from the app store
  2. Follow the steps on the authenticator of your choice to add a new account for your SleekFlow account. Once it is completed, return to the “Secure Your Account” SleekFlow page to connect your SleekFlow 2FA to your authenticator.
  3. You can use your authenticator to scan the QR code on the “Secure Your Account” SleekFlow page, and then enter the provided one-time code on the same page

  4. If you have trouble scanning the QR code in step 3, you can click “Trouble Scanning?” on the “Secure Your Account” SleekFlow page, manually copy the code and paste it into your authenticator. Then, retrieve the one-time code from your authenticator and enter it on the “Secure Your Account” SleekFlow page

After successfully setting up 2FA, you will be prompted to enter a one-time code from your authenticator app when logging in. After entering the one-time code and clicking "Continue," you can sign in to SleekFlow if your 2FA authentication is successful. If it fails, you should remain on the same page to retry.
