Why do message counts in SleekFlow Analytics differ from Meta?
Message counts in SleekFlow Analytics may not exactly match the analytics data you saw from the Meta Business Suite, even when the same time range and channels are selected. This is expected due to differences in how data is recorded and calculated. Here are the
1. Different event timestamps
SleekFlow counts messages based on the message creation time (when the message is triggered or sent), while Meta may count based on the delivery time (when the message is delivered to the recipient).
If a message is sent on one day but delivered on another, it may be counted in different periods across platforms.
2. Status update delays
In some cases, message delivery status updates may be delayed. If a message is marked as “delivered” after a certain time window (e.g. more than a few days later), it may not be included in the same reporting period in SleekFlow Analytics.
3. Timezone differences
The selected date range in SleekFlow may not align exactly with the date range shown in Meta due to timezone differences. This means messages near the start or end of the selected period may be counted differently between the two platforms, depending on how each platform defines the reporting window.
