Supported countries

Phone number purchasing is currently available for United States and Hong Kong numbers only.

If you need to contact customers in other countries or regions, contact our support team to check the available options.

To use Voice calls in SleekFlow, you’ll need a phone number with voice capabilities. You can purchase a new phone number directly in SleekFlow and configure it for inbound and outbound calls.

In this article, we’ll guide you through purchasing a Voice-enabled phone number, setting up Voice call settings, and understanding verification requirements if you also want to use the same number for messaging.

Before you start

Before purchasing a phone number, make sure that:

  • You have sufficient balance in your SMS and Voice wallet. The monthly fee for the number will be deducted from your wallet. You can learn more about SMS and Voice wallet in this Help Center article.
  • You have permission to connect channels in your role settings.
  • Your plan has not reached the maximum number of connected channels.

Configuring voice settings after purchase

After purchasing a phone number, you can configure how it is used for Voice calls.

Set a display name

Add a display name to help your team identify the phone number.

Enable voice calls

On the phone number setup page, you can turn on Voice calls for the number.

You can choose whether the number can be used for:

  • Receive calls: Allow customers to call this number and reach your team in SleekFlow
  • Make calls: Allow teammates to make outbound calls from this number

Note: Voice calls are available after the number is purchased and configured, as long as the number supports Voice capabilities.

Set up call routing

Call routing determines who receives incoming calls to this number. You can route incoming calls to:

  • Route to all available agents: Route incoming calls to available teammates in the workspace. Calls are distributed evenly using round-robin assignment.
  • Route to a team: Route incoming calls to available teammates in a specific team. Calls are distributed evenly using round-robin assignment.
  • Route to a specific agent: Route calls directly to a specific assigned agent
  • Route to contact’s assignees: Route calls to the teammate assigned to the contact. If they do not answer, the call will be routed to available members of their team.

You can change the call routing setting at any time by clicking on the phone number details.

Configure workspace Voice call settings

In addition to phone number settings, you can manage workspace-level Voice call settings from the Voice call settings tab, such as call transcript, call recording and AI summary. You can learn more about these settings in this Help Center article.

SMS and MMS verification requirements

Voice calls and SMS messaging have separate setup requirements.

Voice calls can be used once the number is purchased and configured. SMS and MMS require verification before you can send messages from the same number. The verification process depends on the type of number you purchased.
